How do people get to you?
The best way to reach us is by boat from the mainland (contact Destination Gotland). Several flights go to Gotland. From Visby you can get to us by car, taxi or bus. If you choose to take a taxi, we recommend Taxi Söder 0498-208080 for the best price and service. If you are a group of at least 10 people, you can get a group discount at Destination Gotland. Contact us and we will help you.

When is check-in and check-out?
We want you to sleep in, so we have check-in from 16:00 and check-out until 12:00. We are flexible – talk to us if you have other wishes. During low season, Gåsen Out is not manned for check-in – keys and instructions are available at the reception. Check-in takes place at each facility.

When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served 8:00 – 10:30 Do you need an earlier breakfast? No problem! Let us know when booking and we will arrange a good breakfast package for you. At Gåsen Out there is no breakfast service during low season. We offer a breakfast bag and coffee instead.

Is there a bar?
Of course there is a bar! At Grå Gåsen it is open the same hours as the restaurant. In the rooms you have access to a minibar.

Can I have dinner with you?
During high season midsummer until the end of August, we have our summer restaurant open at Grå Gåsen. During the low season, we offer a pre-booked two-course dinner for our hotel guests at Grå Gåsen. It is best booked in connection with the room booking. Otherwise, please contact info@gragasen.se. The booking must be made at least two days in advance.

Can you drink what you have brought with you?
Unfortunately, no. We have full rights on beer, wine and spirits and we are very keen on this license. You are welcome to order at the bar and take it up to your room or take something from the minibar.

Can you take pets with you?
Of course – we like animals. We have several rooms where pets are allowed, but we charge an extra fee for cleaning. Dogs are also welcome in the restaurant. Out of respect for allergy sufferers, we have areas in both the hotel and restaurant where furry animals are not welcome. Please walk your dog outside our area.

Do you have a spa and pool?
We have a sauna and two lovely wood-fired hot tubs located by our pool area. You book the basatu and hot tubs by contacting us. The pool is open from mid-May to mid-September, depending on the weather.

ROOMS

How many rooms do you have?
In Gåsens Villa we have eight rooms and another four poolside. At our sister hotel Gåsen Out (1.5 km from Grå Gåsen) we have a larger number of rooms and apartments. In total, we can accommodate just over 100 people in different room standards. Contact us if you are a larger group or company.

Should I bring a swimsuit?
Preferably if you are staying at Grå Gåsen! As soon as the spring is warm enough, we open the pool for our local hotel guests (not for guests at Gåsen Out). When the pool gets too cold, we open our wood-fired hot tubs and sauna instead. These can be booked for a fee.

How many people can fit in the rooms?
Our rooms are designed for two adults, but several rooms can accommodate children in a sofa bed or extra bed at a cost. How many people can be accommodated varies. Normally there are two adults per room, but we have some rooms with room for three. Our family suites are particularly suitable for large families, with room for up to three children (one of whom is in a bed for children under 15 kg). Please contact us at bokarum@gragasen.se if you have any questions.
