Privacy policy

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, also known as the GDPR, regulates how public authorities, companies and organizations process personal data. The regulation aims, among other things, to protect your personal data so that it is not used for purposes other than those for which you provided it.

To personal data is any information that can be linked to a living natural person, such as

  • name
  • address
  • photon
  • online identifications

Even data such as IP numbers, when combined with other data, can constitute personal data.

Processing of personal data includes all processing of personal data, such as collection, recording and storage.

Data controller is the person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

 

 

Collection and processing of personal data

What personal data do we collect and when?

Personal and contact information, such as name, email address and phone number, that you provide to us, for example when you submit a question or comments using one of the contact forms, or engage us for one of our services. We may also collect such personal and contact information in other contexts, such as when you interact with us on social media.

We may actively collect personal and contact information about you, for example if you work as a contact person at a company or are a public figure, journalist or similar. This is to be able to contact you to offer one or more of our services.

As a visitor to our website, we may collect information about how you interact with and use our web pages as well as technical device information, such as IP address, language settings, browser settings, time zone, operating system, platform and screen resolution.

How long do we keep your personal data?
We never keep your personal data longer than necessary for the respective purpose or for what is necessary for other legitimate interests. The data collected may be stored for quality assurance purposes for a maximum period of two years.

What are your rights as a data subject?

Right of access (register extracts). You have the right to access the data we process about you and can request a copy of it.

Right of rectification. You have the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete information about you in the context of the purpose for which it is processed.

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"). You have the right to request that we erase the personal data we process.

Right to restriction. In certain circumstances, you may have the right to request that our processing of your personal data be restricted. For example, if you would question the accuracy of the data or if we no longer need it for our purposes but you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. This means that you can request that we do not delete your data.

Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files consisting of letters and numbers that are sent from our web server and stored on your browser or device. These can be so-called cookies:

  • Session cookies (a temporary cookie that expires when you close your browser or device).
  • Persistent cookies (cookies that remain on your computer until you delete them or they expire).
  • First-party cookies (cookies set by the website you are visiting).
  • Third-party cookies (cookies set by a third-party site) These are used for statistics and analysis, e.g. Google Analytics.
