GRÅ GÅSEN RESTAURANT

At Grå Gåsen restaurant, guests, friends, and passersby gather for dinners that take their time. The pace is relaxed, but there’s a clear philosophy behind everything we do.

We cook the food we ourselves want to eat. The ingredients take the lead, the season sets the tone, and we believe that simple is best. The menu changes throughout the year and is based on what’s available locally—from Gotland producers to whatever is at its absolute best right now.

The atmosphere is just as important as the food. It should feel lively, personal, and a little unpredictable. Some evenings are quiet, others more lively—and often somewhere in between.

Music is an integral part of the experience. Throughout the summer, we host regular evenings featuring live performances—including jazz every Tuesday—as well as other evenings where the atmosphere takes a different turn. For the current schedule, please check our social media.

When the weather permits, we open the outdoor bar and garden, where you can sit down with a drink before or after dinner—or simply stay a little longer than planned.

During the summer, the restaurant is open most evenings and serves as a natural gathering place in southern Gotland. Many people come here for dinner—and end up staying longer than they planned.

On our major concert nights, such as The Ark on July 21 and Moonica Mac on August 5, we serve a special menu and the area comes alive in a whole new way. After the concerts, the evening continues in the barn with a club night.

Grå Gåsen is located in Burgsvik. People come here for a dinner or a lunch that seems to go on forever, but also for the atmosphere.
